Horses Healing Humans
Horses Healing Humans, Inc in Voluntown has a new program for US Veterans and we are looking for additional participants. Local Veterans who might benefit from Equine-Assisted Activities and Therapy as a participant or volunteer, please contact Lee Paradis, Director at lparadis@gmail.com or 860-460-4107. There is no charge to the Vets-they have pre-paid with their service.

However, we are always looking for grants, sponsorships, or other funding resources to cover the horse, facility, and Instructor costs associated with offering this program. Currently our Vets meet on Saturday afternoons from 1-5pm. Other dates and times will be added as needed.

The program is run by PATH, Int’l certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors and Mental Health Professionals along with our specially trained equine staff of 5 horses. The Vets help with farm work, work directly with the horses, and assist each other on mounted and un-mounted work. Please contact me for further information or to schedule a visit, and check out our website at Horses Healing Humans. We look forward to an expanded program in March 2012.
