I want to take a moment to thank you again for serving as the leader of the PGR team at my father-in-law’s interment ceremony. I was truly lifted when Bob Stone told me that you were running the mission. It was a nice touch to use the snow banks to add more flags than you had PGR members in attendance.

You and I met due to your involvement with the CT 612 Escort Team back in 2007. It has been a pleasure to know you ever since. You have repeatedly shown your devotion to honoring our military heroes and I am always pleased to see you whenever I participate in a PGR mission. Many of my in-law’s family knew nothing of the PGR until I explained our mission to them. All of them commented at our gathering after the interment about how impressive it was to have Bill’s gravesite surrounded by the beautiful display of flags and the reverent attention of the PGR members…

Thank you from the bottom my heart…It meant so much to me and to my wife, Carol, to have you guys there. She had never seen what the the PGR do for the families of our heroes, so it was meaningful to her on several levels. She will never again question me about what I’m doing when I go on a PGR mission. Please pass this message along to the other members who were in attendance. I don’t yet know all of them, but I am equally grateful to them, too. Thank you…

Be well…
