THOMAS EDWARD FLYNN MM2 USN WWII, FIRST RESPONDER

TUESDAY 09/05/17 0900 HRS STAGING

Patriot Guard and Associates;  

Sadly we are called to stand in Honor for Thomas Edward Flynn MM2 USN WWII, and First Responder.  MM2 Flynn served from 08/1943 to 04/1946.
Duty Stations include NRS Hartford, CT NTS Newport, RI, NTS (MM) Wentworth Institute Boston, MA, RS New York, NY and service aboard the USS Hopping DE 155/APD 51.
Significant Awards include the American Campaign Award, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with 1 Bronze Service Star, Navy Occupation Service Medal with Aisa Clasp, WWII Victory Medal, and the Phillipine Liberation Medal.
Thomas also served with the Westfield Fire Department in Middletown, CT for more than 75 years rising through the ranks to Deputy Chief and Honorary Chief.
We will stand a flag line at the church and cemetery.
Church Staging will be 0900 hours Tuesday 09/05/17 at St Pius X Church 310 Westfield St. Middletown, CT 06457 followed by a flag line at the Miner St Cemetery, Miner St (Intersection of Smith St) Middletown, CT.
ASC Skip Petras will be RCIC and Flags and Water will be provided.
