 Sadly we have been called to stand in Honor for Robert H. Gross 1st LT WWII US Army Air Corps (Army Air Forces). LT Gross served in the American and European-African-Middle Eastern Theaters of Operation with the 2517th Army Air Force Base Unit, 8th Air Force as a Navigator aboard B-24 bombers with the 34th Bomb Crew of the 7th Squadron in the Air Offensive Europe, Normandy, Northern France and Rhineland Campaigns. LT Gross was awarded the European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal with 4 Bronze Stars, American Service Medal, Distinguished Flying Cross, Purple Heart, Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, French Legion of Honor Medal, and the WWII Victory Medal.

1ST LT Gross is the Grandfather of our own CTPGR Member Sarah Gross.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Feb 19,2017 at the Weinstein Mortuary 640 Farmington Av.  Hartford, CT. with interment at Zion Hill Cemetery Affleck St Hartford, CT 06106.
STAGING WILL BE AT 12PM (1200) hrs AT THE WEINSTEIN MORTUARY FOLLOWED BY SERVICES AT ZION HILL CEMETERY.
