Patriot Guard and associates,

Sadly we are called to stand for Walter L. Czapiga who served our country honorably in

the U.S. Army in WWII, may he rest in peace. 

Walter was a proud veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II. He was a member of Company “L”, 114th Infantry serving at Normandy and campaigns in Northern France, the Rhineland and Central Europe.  He was a prisoner of war in Germany and a recipient of the Bronze Star Metal. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Centerbrook and the American Legion Post in Old Saybrook.

We will provide a Flag Line at the funeral home for calling hours, an escort to the cemetery and Flag Line at the cemetery for this Hero.

 ASC Jack Casey will be RCIC and flags will be on site.
