***HONOR MISSION***JOSEPH R. BEDARD, SSG, US ARMY, 1000 HRS,(Staging@ 0900 hrs), FRIDAY, 23 OCTOBER 2015, EAST HARTFORD, CT

Patriot Guard and Associates,

Sadly we are called to stand a Flag Line for Joseph R. Bedard, Staff Sergeant, US Army, who served during WWII in the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater of Operations as an Automatic Rifleman in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe. He was awarded the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon with 5 Bronze Service Stars, Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Combat Infantryman Badge, the Good Conduct Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

We will stand a Flag Line in his honor at the Funeral Home, the Church and at the Cemetery for his interment with Honors.

We will provide a Flag Vehicle Escort from the Funeral Home to the Church and then to the Cemetery.

Assistant State Captain Jack Casey will be RCIC and Flags will be on site.
