Patriot Guard and Associates,

Sadly we are called to stand a Flag Line to honor the service of Frederick Joseph Alexa, ETM2, US Navy, who served from 1943 to 1946 and was a Plankowner on the USS MONA ISLAND, ARG-9, and other vessels during this period. He was awarded a Combat Action Ribbon, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with Star and a WWII Victory Medal.

Assistant State Captain Jack Casey will be RCIC and have Flags on site.

STAGING: There are two stages to this mission. Full Flag Vehicles are to stage at the son’s house to escort the hero to the church:
0830 hrs
14 Great Hammock Rd.
Old Saybrook, CT 06475

Escort will leave the house about 0900 to proceed to church.

0900 hrs, those not in escort
St. Margaret’s Catholic Church
24 Academy St.
Madison, CT 06443

Military Honors will be rendered at the Church. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
