*** Honor Mission***
Eric Omdahl
US Army/US Navy
Vietnam Veteran
Greenwich, CT
SAT APR 28th 1100hrs

Patriot Guard and associates,

Sadly we are called to stand for Eric Omdahl, who served our country honorably in both the US Army in Vietnam and US Navy, may he rest in peace.

Eric served in Vietnam with honor and was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds suffered during operations against enemy forces. Additional awards included the Vietnam Service medal, National Defense Service medal, Combat infantryman badge, Special Forces Qualified badge, Combat Diver and several more.

Additionally, Eric proudly served as a sworn volunteer Patrol Officer with the Greenwich Special Police Division. In 1980 he was promoted to Sergeant in the organization and was in charge of a squad of several officers. Again he distinguished himself as a dedicated officer who spent many of his evenings away from his family protecting the citizens of Greenwich while on his Police patrols.

We will stand a flag line at the church.

RC John Bittner will be RCIC and have flags on site.
