Sadly we are called to stand a Flag Line for Rollie D. Stephens, Chief Warrant Officer-3, US Army, who also served Honorably in the US Navy and the US Air Force before retiring from the Army. Rollie served over 20 years and retired in 1974, with 2 tours in Viet Nam. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, Good Conduct Medal, 2ndaward, National Defense Service Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Viet Nam Service Medal, Viet Nam Campaign Medal with 60 Device, Viet Nam Cross of Gallantry with Palm, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Air Force Longevity Award with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Navy Silver Dolphin Insignia, Small Arms Expert Marksman Ribbon and Second Class Divers Badge.


We will stand a Flag Line at the Funeral Home and the Cemetery. We will provide a motorcycle Flag Escort to the Cemetery. This mission is at the same time as the Welcome Home in Wolcott, CT. Though Honor Missions are our priority, I hope some members in the Wolcott area will attend the Welcome Home.


Jack Casey will be RCIC and have Flags on site.
