Patriot Guard and associates,
We are very proud to have been asked to participate in an Honor and Remember flag presentation for 1st Lt Keith Heidtman.

1st Lt. Heidtman was assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; died May 28, 2007 in Muqdadiyah, Iraq, of wounds sustained when his OH-58D Kiowa helicopter crashed after receiving heavy enemy fire during combat operations in May 2007.

Heidtman was a 2001 graduate of Norwich Free Academy and a graduate of the University of Connecticut.

This presentation is in conjunction with the Spartyka Road Run which honor the daily sacrifices made by the brave men and women in all branches of the United States Military, Spartyka is proud to host the Spartyka Wounded Warrior 5K, a family-friendly event that welcomes anyone with a patriotic spirit who wants to show support for the troops and veterans who have served our country.
The goal of the Spartyka Wounded Warrior 5K is to raise awareness and show support for the men and women in the United States Military, and raise funds for our Nation’s Wounded Warriors.

We will stand a Flag Line at the beginning of this event when the Flag will be presented.

State Captain Gregg Barratt will be RCIC and flags will be on site.
