Sadly we are called to Stand in Honor for George Zlotnick, PFC US Army     WWII 1943-1945.
George served in the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater of Operations with Battery B 464th Parachute Field Artillery Battalion, 17th Airborne Division as a Gun Crewman Light Artillery in Northern France and the Rhineland.
Significant Awards include the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon w/ 2 Bronze Service Stars and Bronze Arrowhead, American Theater Campaign Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.
We will Stand a Flag Line for Calling Hours, Church Services and then for Burial and Military Honors at the Cemetery.
Josh Ratti will be In Charge with flags on site.
Members are reminded to dress appropriately for the weather.

Sadly we are called to Stand in Honor for Jay Lewis Johnson 3rd CL        USCG-Merchant Marine WW II.
Significant Duty Stations include the SS United States VICTORY homeported on both the West Coast and the East Coast as a 3rd Radio Operator.
We will Stand a Flag Line for Burial and Military Honors at the cemetery.
SRC Don Camden will be RCIC with Flags on site.
This mission is at the same time as missions in Southbury and Willimantic.
Members are reminded that Personal Weapons are not Permitted on State Property and to dress appropriately for the weather.

Significant Duty Stations include Co A 523rd Signal Battalion in Radio Relay Multichannel Transmission and Carrier Operator.
Significant Awards include the National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ 2 Overseas Bars and the M-14 Sharpshooter Badge.
We will Stand a Flag Line for calling hours at the Church followed by Military Honors and Burial at the Cemetery.
SRC Greg Young will be RCIC with flags on site.
A Flagged Vehicle has been requested from the Church to the Cemetery weather permitting.

Building Homes for Heroes Glastonbury, CT 11/20/2019
We have received a last minute request to attend an event in Glastonbury tomorrow 1120/2019.
 
Building Homes for Heroes is presenting a home to Army Specialist Craig Hall.
 
There will be a Procession starting at Monaco Ford 767 New London Tpk with lineup beginning at 10 am for flagged vehicles. Members with flags are asked to arrive at 1171 New London Tpk in Glastonbury CT by 10:30.
 
This is an attend on your own mission so members are asked to bring your own flags.
