Because Patriot Guard Rider’s evolution now includes more than just motorcycle riders our slogan evolved to “Standing for Those Who Stood For Us.” That replaced our slogan (Riding with Respect) at the bottom of our patch.

Because of the almost square state lines of the state, this created the perfect background to display our American flag. To add prestige to the outline of the state with the American flag as the foundation, a bald eagle was added to the left of the design. The bald eagle was chosen June 20, 1782 as the national emblem of the United States of America, because of its long life, great strength and majestic looks, as well as because it was then believed to exist only on this continent. To tie the design together with the Patriot Guard Riders, the universally recognized symbol of the Patriot Guard Riders was added to the right side of the design, not only as an anchor, but to make it our own.
It is easy to see why this design was the winner in the over all contest. We are getting more and more compliments on this beautiful design every day.
