Wreaths Across America

Wreaths Across America

Their mission is, Remember, Honor, and Teach.  This is carried out in part by coordinating wreath laying ceremonies on the second Saturday of December at Arlington, as well as veterans cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states and beyond.  Because the wreaths begin their trek in Maine on their way to Virginia, Connecticut plays an important part in the stops along the way.  At the stops the caravan makes all the way we help to spread Wreaths Across America’s message about the importance of remembering fallen heroes, those who are serving, and teaching children about the sacrifices made by veterans and their families to preserve our freedoms.
