We have been invited to participate in the “Comfort Walk” ( Previously known as “The Long Walk for 22” send off Ceremony. There will also be an Honor & Remember Flag Presentation in Honor of Jake Pettit, LCPL US Marine Corps.
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 8:30 with a Meet & Greet with refreshments.
We will Stand a Flag Line for the Ceremony and the Honor & Remember Presentation.

There are 2 Staging Locations as in past years. 
For Flagged bikes and vehicles,  Corner of Victoria Rd and Main St  (Across from the fire house)  Must be in place by 130pm.
For Flag line  Brownstone Intermediate School  314 Main St Portland, CT 06480.
Parade will step off at 2pm. Members riding in the parade will park in the Brownstone School parking area upon arrival and join the flag line next to the reviewing stand.

**SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS**
Members will be entering an Active Military Base and must follow the following instructions for Security Purposes;
NO Personal Weapons to include pocket knives are permitted on the base to include stored on or in your vehicle. Vehicles are subject to search prior to entry. 
All Members are to have Photo ID and present same to gain access to the base.
Staging will be at the bowling alley parking area and the group will travel to the base together.

Members have been  invited to go to the New Britain VFW for a luncheon following the ceremony.

Patriot Guard Riders,

Once again, we are honored to be asked for a flag line at the RI Veterans Cemetery on Saturday, May 18th as brass players from across the state join together to honor all our fallen heroes.

We all have come to know Armed Forces Day as the annual Echo Taps Ceremony. Brass players perform an echoing cascade of Taps in recognition of the sacrifice our heroes have made for our country.
