Sadly, we have been Requested to escort Retired LCDR Glen Dean Myers, Sr., U.S. Navy, from New London, CT to Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1967, and during his distinguished career Glen qualified for the Navy Enlisted Scientific Educations program, received his degree in Electrical Engineering from Ole Miss, earned his commission as a US Naval Officer, and attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander. For 20 years Glen served with honor at posts aboard the USS BLUEBACK, the USS BARB, the USS HADDOCK, and as an instructor at the Naval Submarine School. After retiring in 1987, Glen continued to serve and support the Navy for another 20+ years from the private sector.
