Sadly, we have been requested to stand a Flag Line for Joseph Zurowski, US Army, Vietnam Veteran
Joseph served in the US Army as an Engineer Equipment Maintenance Mechanic. He served multiple tours in Vietnam and received multiple honors including: National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w 60 Device, Vietnam Service Medal w/2 Bronze Service Stars, Oversea Service Bars.
He also served as Commander of the VFW and coordinated many ceremonies for the Memorial Day Parade and other events. He always made sure every Veteran’s grave in town was decorated with a flag for any military holidays.
We will stand a Flag Line at the funeral home for visitation from 1000-1100 with a short service following. We will provide an escort to the cemetery and stand a Flag Line for Military Honors at the gravesite.
ASC Steve Marcolini (860-334-4616) will be RCIC and Flags will be on site.
