Sadly, we have been requested to stand a Flag Line for Walter Clark, US Army.Walter was drafted in 1943 into the 394th Infantry and assigned to the 99th Division as a Mechanic. The 394th Division was engaged in The Battle of the Bulge, Battle of Remagen Bridge, The Rhineland and Ruhr Battles.
He received the following medals: Victory Medal, Army Occupation Medal of Germany, Good Conduct Medal, American Theatre Campaign Medal, and the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbon. Additionally, he received Expert Rifle badge, Expert Gunner and Combat Infantry Badge.
We will stand a Flag Line at the church, provide an escort to the cemetery and stand a Flag Line at the cemetery.
Linda Liversidge-Daley (203-915-8259) will be RCIC and Flags will be on site.
