(At the intermittent part of the mission for Corporal Breanna Joy Hayes, USMC, October 18, 2010, the Connecticut Patriot Guard was at the cemetary priot to the funeral party to arrive. While we were there, awaiting their arrival, another interment was occurring. This was for Harold Brookman, a Korean War Veteran – was not an official Patriot Guard Mission. While we were awaiting for the funeral party for Corporal Hayes to arrive, we stood to honor Korean War Veteran Harold Brookman. We were honored to stand in honor for him as well.

Jack, the Brookman family wanted me to tell you that their father and grandfather, Harold Brookman, would have been thrilled to see the flag line. They were all very moved.
