We have been invited by Major General Francis Evon Jr, Adjutant General of CT

to participate in the Freedom Salute and Send Off for several units deploying in support of Operations Freedom Sentinel, Inherent Resolve, and Spartan Shield.

We will Stand a Flag Line for the Ceremony.

ASC Skip Petras will be RCIC with flags on site.

Parking is normally very limited for these events so it is suggested that members arrive early.

Members are reminded that Personal Weapons are not permitted on State Property.

We have been invited to participate in the Ted Aub Memorial Car Show being held on the Madison Town Green. Ted was a Member of the Marine Corps League and a strong advocate for Veterans and Veterans programs.

 Show times are from 10a-3p.

We will man an information table for the show.

We also have been invited to Stand a flag line for a brief ceremony at 12 noon.

Members are invited to man the table for whatever amount of time they would like.

Kevin Rancourt and Rob Migliore will have brochures and flags on site.

Members should bring their own chairs.

We have been invited to participate in a Memorial Service for Robert J Pivirotto US Army Vietnam/Cambodia 1970. Robert was the recipient of 3 Purple Heart Decorations.

Significant Duty Stations include Basic Training at Ft Dix NJ. Upon completion he was assigned to Germany for training as a welder and a mechanic. Later depolyed to Vietnam and assigned to Fire Base Fort Defiance when he served as a Tank Commander with the 11th Armored Calvary Regiment/Blackhorse Regiment. He also participated in the invasion of Cambodia.

Robert was buried at CT State Veterans Cemetery in 2015.

We will Stand a Flag Line for the ceremony.

RC Don Camden will be RCIC with flags and water on site.

Sadly we have been called to Stand in Honor for Everett Raymond Hall Jr  SSGT(T) US Air Force Korean Era.

Significant Duty Stations include the 242nd Headquarters 9th Air Base Group and 5th Operations Squadron 5th Air Base Group Travis Air Force Base, CA. as an Aircraft Maintenance Journeyman (Airframe and Propulsion).

Significant Awards include The Air Force Good Conduct Medal.

We will Stand a Flag Line for Burial Services and Military Honors.

SRC John Bittner will be RCIC with flags and water on site.

Members are reminded to dress appropriately for the weather.
