*** Honor Mission***
Henry Raymond, US Army, WWII/ Korea/Vietnam
Bristol, CT
TUE JUL 17th 1000hrs
Patriot Guard and associates,
Sadly we are called to stand for Henry “Sarge†Raymond who served our country honorably in the U.S. Army in three wars: WWII, Korea and Vietnam, may he rest in peace.Â
Sarge enlisted at the age of 17 and was a U.S. Army Veteran of three wars: World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, retiring as a First SGT after 36 years of service. Sarge dedicated his life to his fellow veterans including organizing an honor guard to attend close to 2,000 veteran’s funerals since 2006.  He was a longtime Terryville resident and retired from the Terryville Volunteer Fire Dept. in 1997 after 43 years of dedicated service, during which he worked to get the CO. 4 Firehouse built which services Fall Mountain. The fire department recently dedicated a fire engine in his honor.
We will provide a Flag Line at the Church and at the cemetery.
Sr. RC Jack Casey will be RCIC and have flags on site.
