Sadly we are called to stand to honor WWII Veteran Carmelo J. Brutto, Technician 4th Grade, US Army, who served in the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater of Operations with Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 351st Infantry Regiment, 88th Infantry Division as a Radio Operator High Speed Manual in Rome-Arno, Northern Apennines and Po Valley.
He was awarded the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon with 3 Bronze Service Stars, American Theater Campaign Ribbon, Distinguished Unit Badge, Combat Infantryman Badge, Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.
We will stand a Flag Line for the calling hours from 0900 to 1100 hrs (9:00 to 11:00 am), and at the cemetery. We will also provide a Flag Vehicle Escort from the funeral home to the cemetery.
Assistant State Captain Jack Casey will be RCIC and have Flags on site.
