We are honored to have been asked to attend the Funeral Service for William James Markelon, Lcpl, US Marine Corps who served from January 2009 to January 2013 as a Machine Gunner. He was stationed at 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, FMF, Camp Lejeune, NC during Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan. He was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon with 1 Gold Star, the Navy Presidential Unit Citation, the Navy Unit  Commendation, the National Defense Service Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal with 1 Bronze Star, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Navy Sea Service Deployment Ribbon with 2 Bronze Stars and the NATO-ISAF Medal.

We will stand a Flag Line at the Church and at the Cemetery. If possible we will provide a Motorcycle Escort from the Church to the Cemetery.

ASC Jack Casey will be RCIC and Flags and water will be on hand.
