Run for the Fallen

Glastonbury, CT.

SAT, JUL 28th, 1100hrs

Patriot Guard and associates,

We are very excited to have been asked to once again participate in the “Run for the Fallen” on Saturday July 28th with a Flag Line at the end of the run as they come into the track and once again at the Flag Planting ceremony.

The third annual “Run for the Fallen” event in Connecticut is a run to honor all the brave men and women through history who have given their lives so we all can remain free.  There will be a road team that will run one mile for each of the 63 heroes from CT killed in action in Iraq and Afghanistan since 9-11 and the team will end their run at the track.

There will be Gold Star Families there, Honor and Remember Flag presentations, food, activities and speakers include: Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman, Col. Simmons, and Linda Schwartz.

Our own PGR brothers Cliff Paquette and Jody Barr are leaders of this terrific event to honor those who have sacrificed so much…thank you gentlemen for all you do!

Sr. RC Jack Casey will be will be RCIC and have flags on site.  Escort will be provided by CT Rolling Flags and any full flag vehicle wishing to be part of the last mile escort, must notify the RCIC ahead of time.
