Sadly we have been called to Stand in Honor for Frederick John Stanger Jr, SGT US Air Force 1968-1972Â Vietnam.
Significant Duty Station was Altus AFB Oklahoma as an Administrative Specialist.
Significant awards include National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Bronze Stars, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross unit Citation, Republic of Vietnam Civil Actions Unit Citation, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Funeral Home Stage
We will Stand a Flag line for calling hours on Thursday April 26, 2018 from 5pm to 7pm at the Portland Memorial Funeral Home 231 Main St, Portland, CT 06480.
SC Mac McArthur will be RCIC and flags will be on site.
Cemetery Stage
We will also stand a flag line on Friday April 27, 2018 at the CT State Veterans Cemetery 317 Bow La Middletown, CT 06457. Cemetery Staging will be 12 noon.
ASC Jack Casey will be RCIC at the Cemetery and will have Flags and Water on site.
Members are reminded that Personal Weapons are not authorized on State Property.
This mission follows the mission in Cromwell/Middletown the same morning and is at the same time as a Mission in Wallingford.
