Sadly we are called to stand a Flag Line to honor Richard M. Hlavac, Sp 4, US Army, who served during the Viet Nam War.
He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Viet Nam Campaign Medal, Viet Nam Service Medal, and the Combat Infantry Badge.
We will stand a Flag Line at the VFW Post 10004 in Jewett City, CT 06351, where a memorial service will be held. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
State Captain Mac McArthur will be RCIC and Flags will be on site.
