*** Special Mission- Connecticut State Veterans Memorial Ground Breaking Event

Patriot Guard and associates,

 We are pleased to have been asked to participate in a memorial ground breaking event for the construction of the first State Memorial to honor Connecticut men and women who have served in America’s military since Revolutionary War times. This will begin with an official ground breaking ceremony at Minuteman Park, the site of the Memorial.

 The Connecticut State Veterans Memorial will honor the more than 1.3 million Connecticut citizens who have served our nation, in defense of peace and freedom. Veterans of World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, representing all five branches of the U.S. military –Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard – will participate in the event, and the design of the memorial will be unveiled to the public.

 ASC Jack Casey will be RCIC and Flags will be on site
