Sadly we have been called to Stand in Honor for John Santomasso, US Navy Reserves 11/1944 – 07/1946 serving as a Coxswain.
Significant Duty Stations include Naval Receiving Station New Haven, CT, Naval Training Station Sampson, NY, Naval Training and Distribution Center Shoemaker, CA, Naval Receiving Station Navy 3149 Sanmar Island, Phillippines, USS YTD-64, Personnel Separation Center Lido Beach, LI NY
Significant Awards include American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, Phillippine Liberation Medal.
We will stand a flag line at the cemetery only. ASC Jack Casey will be RCIC and flags and water will be on site.
Members are reminded to dress appropriately for the weather.
This mission follows the earlier posted mission at the airport.
