Sadly we have been called to stand in Honor for William Alden Day A1C USAF Korean Era. 
William served from 07/1953 to 07/1957 assigned to the 728th Air Control and Warning Squadron, Tactical Air Command Okinawa, Japan with duty stations at Kadena Air Force Base Okinawa, Japan and Shaw Air Force Base South Carolina.
Significant awards include the National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal
We will stand a flag line at the funeral home prior to services at 10am and at the cemetery following services. 
THE ENTRANCE TO THE CEMETERY IS OFF OF VINE ST AT THE INTERSECTION OF WASHINGTON ST (RT 66)

Francis was assigned to the 5th Fighter Interception Squadron, Maguire Air Field, Trenton NJ.
He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
We will stand a flag line for graveside services only.

Patriot Guard and Associates, 
We are Pleased to have been asked to participate in the Tri-Town Veterans Day Parade hosted by American Legion Post 97, Deep River CT.
The parade is set to step off at 1300 hrs from the Deep River Elementary School, 12 River St Deep River, CT 06417.
We will provide a flagged vehicle escort during the parade and a flag line at the Veterans Monument following the parade. 
When arriving at the school, PGR is to remain at the top of the driveway.

Members are reminded to dress appropriately for the weather.

Staging will be on the top level of the Indian Summer Parking garage at 0830 hrs on Friday November 3, 2017

Additional Veterans Day Events

Saturday November 4th

9:00 am – CT. State VFW is looking for assistance in placing approximately 10,000 American Flags on gravesites at the State Veteran’s Cemetery located on Bow Lane in Middletown which will be the site of the 2:00 pm Veterans Day Ceremony on the 11th. Assistance will also be needed to remove the American Flags on November 18th which will start around 9:00 am that morning.

Youth Groups, Clubs, Groups, and organizations are particularly welcome to help and assist in honoring those Veterans no longer with us.

We will stand a flag line to help Welcome the Honorees and their families as they arrive for the ceremony at 1700 hrs. 
 
STAGING WILL BE AT 1630 HRS at the Windham Technical High School  210 Birch St, Willimantic, CT 06226

As this is State Property and a school, Members are reminded that personal weapons are not permitted.
