HONOR AND REMEMBER FLAG PRESENTATION

PAUL PROTZENKO,SGT,US ARMY/CONNECTICUT STATE POLICE (RET)

SATURDAY, MAY 16th, 2015, 0730 HOURS

Patriot Guard and Associates,

We are honored to have been invited to stand a Flag Line during the Opening Ceremonies at the 5^th Annual Spartyke Wounded Warior 5K Trail Run, to be held at the Bluff Point State Park in Groton, CT. At the ceremony, an Honor and Remember Flag will be presented to the parents of Paul Protzenko, SGT, US Army, who served with the 82^nd Airborne while on active duty. He then spent 21 years with the Connecticut State Police, retiring in 2009. Following retirement, he was employed as a civilian DOD contractor, and was sent to Afghanistan to train National Security Forces. He was shot and killed, along with a US Soldier, by an Afghan national in a security force uniform.

 Senior Ride Captain Gregg Barratt will be RCIC and have Flags on site.
