We will stand a Flag Line for the arrival of Veterans and guests. Members have been invited to have lunch as well.

Fredrick served as a Military Policeman for two years and received the National Defense Service Medal, Sharpshooter Badge M-14 and M-16.

We will stand a Flag Line for calling hours from 1000-1100hrs followed by a Flag Line at the cemetery.

Sadly, we have been requested to stand a Flag Line for Paul Krampitz, US Army, CT PGR, Police Chaplain and a good friend of mine. Paul sadly passed away from injuries after being hit on his motorcycle.

Community involvement was important to Paul.  He served as Chaplain to the CT State Police, the Cromwell Police Department and Cromwell Fire Department. Paul was also an active member of the Connecticut State Police Critical Incident Stress Management Debriefing Team, and supported State Troopers, local police departments, and communities work through tragedy to find healing.  He was also a member of CT Patriot Guard Riders and the Wethersfield Rocky Hill Elks Lodge #2308, where you could often find him visiting friends and enjoying the company of others.  Paul was a former member of the Elks Riders, and was the President and Chaplain of the Big Iron Chapter of the Punishers Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, which he co-founded.

We will stand a Flag Line at the cemetery.  There is expected to be a large attendance and members are urged to be at the 1030hrs stage time.

Of note, this mission is the same day as Honor Flight and the Welcome Home/Send off ceremony.

Freedom Salute Reintegration Ceremony in honor of the Detachment 1, 146th Cyber Warfare Company as they return from deployment & Send Off Ceremony in honor of the 242nd Engineer Detachment as they prepare for deployment.

We are Honored to have been invited by Honor Flight CT to participate in the Escort and Ceremony for Veterans from WW II, Korea and Vietnam who are being taken to Washington DC to visit their respective monuments, many for their first time.

A flagged/PGR identified vehicle escort will start at Windsor Locks High School to bring the Veterans to the Airport for the Pre Departure Ceremony. Stage time is 6:00am.

RC Greg Young (860-227-7525) will be RCIC for the Escort STAGE.

Morning  Airport Stage will include a Flag Line for the arriving Veterans as they prepare for departure. A Pre Departure Ceremony will be held at the SOUTHWEST AIRLINES baggage claim area lower level door #2. Stage time is 6:30am

RC Greg Karal (860-922-5559) will be RCIC for the Airport Stage with flags on site.

EVENING RETURN EVENT

Evening return Airport Stage will include a Flag Line for the return of the Veterans.  A flagged vehicle escort has been requested from the Airport to the High School if available. Evening Stage is at 2200hrs at SOUTHWEST AIRLINES Arrivals.

RC Kevin Rancourt (860-819-4199) will be RCIC with flags on site.

Of note:  This is one of two and possibly three missions Saturday.  There is a Special Mission Welcome Home/Send off at the Armory 0900hrs (mission to follow) and a potential Honor Mission as well.

William served four years as an Navy Aviation Anti-Submarine Technician attached to Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 9 (HS-9) and received the National Service Defense Medal and was also a CT PGR Member.

We will stand a Flag Line at the funeral home for a short service, provide an escort to the cemetery and stand a Flag Line at the Cemetery.

We do not have a Ride Captain available so this is an attend on your own and bring your own flags.

Sadly, we have been requested to provide a Flag Line for Fran Adamec, US Army, WWII.

CPL Adamec served as a Radar Mechanical Navigations Specialist and received: The Central-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, The WWII Victory Medal and the American Campaign Medal.  He also qualified as a Marksman with the M1 Carbine.

We will provide a Flag Line at the cemetery.
