ATTENTION! Message for all riders

Riders are needed for a long-distance escort of PFC Sweet, a WWII POW, from Bennington. He is being brought home after his remains were identified in a mass grave in the Philippines. On July 30th, the escort will leave from Bradley International Airport. He will be arriving at Bradley Airport in Hartford at 17:00 Thursday 7/30. Please share this information with your contacts who are other riders. Veteran status is not a requirement to honor one of our local heroes’ homecoming.

 

From the information I received, it is a Police Escort to Vt and route of travel is 91 North to Brattleboro, then Rt 9 across to Bennington.

It is again time to announce our annual Get Together to be held on July 30, 2017 at the Portland Co 2 Picnic Grounds at 84 Indian Hill Av, Portland, CT.  We will again be asking $10.00 per person. Please rsvp by Monday July 24th.
