Patriot Guard and Associates:
Sadly, we are called to stand for James Clynch, U.S. Air Force, Korea
Jim served from 1951-1955 during the Korean War. He was a crew chief for B-47 planes and other aircraft and was stationed in New York, Arizona, Goose Bay Labrador, Africa and England.
Jim devoted his life to helping veterans, serving as the Past Department Commander of the State of Connecticut Disabled Americans Veterans; Past Commander of the DAV Unknown Soldier Chapter 12 of Greater Hartford; DAV Homeless Veterans Chair; Rocky Hill Veterans Home Board of Directors; and Wethersfield Memorial Day committee. He was a 70 year member of the DAV and also a member of the American Legion and the Veteran of Foreign Wars. Jim was honored in 2019 as Italian American Man of the year in Connecticut for his federal, state and local advocacy, earning a reputation as a voice of the veterans. Among his many accomplishments, Jim helped make sure every town had a POW MIA flag in the State of CT to honor the missing veterans. Jim would lead the Wethersfield Memorial Day parade Disabled American Veterans each year.
We will stand a Flag Line at the Church, and escort to the cemetery and a Flag line Graveside. Flags will be on site.
SC Steve Marcolini will be RCIC (860-334-4616)
