Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Police Officer Sean  A. Collier, 26

Patriot Guard and Associates:

This is a re-broadcast from PGR of MA and the second PGR segment of the Honor Mission for Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Police Officer Sean  A. Collier, 26, was murdered in the line of duty  in a late night confrontation with the two men responsible for the Boston Marathon bombings.

On Thursday 18 April, he was shot multiple times in what many view as a despicable coldblooded assassination. He was a member of the MIT campus police force since January, 2012. Prior to that, Sean worked as a civilian employee with the Somerville Police department.

The funeral for Officer Collier was initially intended to be a private affair. However, an overwhelming outpouring of public sentiment has caused the family to change their plans. The family has requested that the Patriot Guard Riders be present.

Several PGR of CT members and leaders joined me to stand the Flag Line with MA, RI and NH at the Wake Monday for this Hero. PGR of CT members are encouraged to once again attend on their own to support PGR of MA on Wednesday.

Of note, ASC Jack Casey will be attending and will stage at 1200hrs at the “Mystic Overlook” on -95 North in Mystic (just before exit 90) for any members wishing to go up together.

Old Saybrook Stage Will Steal “A Piece Of Your Heart” January 17, 18, & 19.

Attend on your own event that is about Women in Vietnam that has received very postive reviews.

Old Saybrook Stage Will Steal “A Piece Of Your Heart”

The Saybrook Stage Company is delighted to be returning once again to the “Kate” with the production of “A

Piece of My Heart” which presents the true stories of six courageous women sent to Vietnam and their struggle to

make sense of a war that irrevocably changed them and a nation that shunned them. The play takes up a  subject largely

missing from the reams of material written about Vietnam, namely the women that served there;  seamlessly

interweaving the stories of the six principals.

A Piece Of My Heart” will be performed live at The Kate in Old Saybrook, CT
– January 17th, 18th & 19th at 8pm and January 20th at 3pm

– Tickets: Adults $20 Vets & Students $15

(on a personal note, the Website Coordinator has attended a production of this play and it is incredible)
