Sadly we are called to Stand in Honor for Leonard Michael Sweeney, SP4 US Army Vietnam 1965-1967.

Leonard served with Headquarters Battery, 3rd Battalion, 82nd Artillery Regiment, 196th Infantry Brigade as a Field Wireman in Tay Ninh Province, South Vietnam.

Significant Awards include The Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/ 2 Bronze Service Stars, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation, Republic of Vietnam Civil Actions Unit Citation, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Expert Rifle M-14 Badge, and 1 Overseas Service Bar.

We will Stand a Flag line at the Funeral Home and at the Cemetery.

A Flagged Vehicle Escort has been requested weather permitting.

SRC Jack Casey will be RCIC with flags and water on site.

We are Honored to have been invited by Major General Francis J. Evon, Adjutant General of Connecticut to participate in the Dedication of 2 State Military Facilities in Observance of Medal of Honor Recipients.

Camp Hartell will be Formally Dedicated in Honor of First LT Lee Ross Hartell, US Army WW II and CT National Guard Korea.  1st LT Hartell was awarded the Medal of Honor for Actions in Korea.

It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that we have been requested to Stand in Honor for Kathleen Anne Halverson Stone,  CT Patriot Guard Rider, and Wife of  Patriot Guard New England Regional Captain Robert “Airwolf” Stone.

Kathy was a proud Patriot Guard member, Dedicated member of the Hearts of Hope organization, Crafts Person and Designer and most of all, an incredibly strong fighter.

We will Stand a Flag Line in her Honor  for calling hours.

Significant Duty Stations include The Naval Receiving Station, New Haven, CT, Naval Training Station Sampson, NY, Receiving Station Norfolk, VA, Headquarters Squadron Fleet Airwing 3, Personnel Seperation Center Lido Beach, LI NY.

Significant Awards Include the American Campaign Medal, WW II Victory Medal.

We will Stand a Flag Line for Cemetery Services and Military Honors.
