It’s Springtime and bike season! Well for some of us, it was bike season all winter with the minimal snow. Time to get out and enjoy the warm weather as well as get ready for many upcoming PGR events.

We have a lot coming up including our Chili cook off where we need more volunteers!! For all the upcoming events and missions, be sure to check out the CT PGR website at www.ctpatriotguard.org and look for the calendar feature.

We are in desperate need for anyone in a cage and could help out every so often transport flags to missions. Thank you RE: Retired Chief of Police Peter Robbins funeral

SC Gregg Barratt:

On behalf of the Greenwich Police Department, I would like to thank you and those members of the PGR for their attendance and participation at the funeral of Retired Chief Peter Robbins.  Peter had been a member of the police department for more than 32 years and was highly respected by both the Department and the community.

The large contingent in attendance, including those representing your organization, were all extremely professional and compassionate in their interactions with members of our Department and those of his family.  Mrs. Robbins and members of the Robbins family were so very thankful.  They clearly felt Peter had indeed been honored.  We are all very appreciative of your support.

Chief of Police

Gentlemen and Ladies

Words cannot express our thanks for your participation in the funeral services for my brother last week in Greenwich.

It would have made him proud as it did myself and all of his family and friends.

God Bless you all keep up your outstanding service!

Growing pains and evolution

The goals for these posts: Behind the Scenes

In the goals to improve the site, we are growing and evolving. We now have a form for people to use to request a mission. It is directly accessed through the “Request Our Services” button on the front page.  Here is what the form looks like:  Request Services Form

The “Request Our Services” has been changed and I am looking for feedback. I am trying to make the site look as professional as I can. I plan on finding updated buttons that appear more 2D or 3D. I will be working this step by step. If you have any suggestions or ideas, I am very interested in them. Please contact me.

Remember….if you have questions or ideas, please feel free to contact me.
