Eugene was a 2^nd Lt. Combat Engineer in Vietnam and received the Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, and The Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal

We will stand a Flag Line at the church and cemetery. There is no escort. Of note, the cemetery is approximately 30 minutes from the church.

A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Jon served his country as a Combat Medic with the 143rd FSB with honor, grit, having been deployed to Bosnia after 9/11 as a combat medic with B Company, and was honorably discharged in 2002.

He was awarded The Army Achievement Medal (2^nd award), Army Reserve Achievement medal (2^nd award), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and The Expert Field Medical Badge.
