We are Honored to have been invited by the Commissioner of Veterans Affairs Thomas Saadi to participate in the Escort and Interment of 4 Unclaimed Service Members and 1 Spouse.
The following release was provided by the DVA;

We will Stand a Flag Line for Cemetery Services and Military Honors at the Cemetery.
RC’s in attendance are asked to bring your flags if possible.
ASC Skip Petras will be RCIC for the Escort Stage.
Members are reminded that Personal Weapons are not Permitted on State Property.

Significant Duty Stations include Naval Recruiting Center New Haven, CT, Naval Training Center Sampson NY, Naval Air Station Corpus Christi TX, USS Randolph CV-15 Fleet Air Wing 17, Iwo Jima/Okinawa, PSC Lido Beach LI NY as an Aviation Radioman.
Significant Awards include WW II Victory Medal, American Theater Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal, WW II Air Medal w/ 3 Bronze Stars.
We will Stand a Flag Line for Calling Hours and Services/Military Honors at the Funeral Home. Calling Hours are from 1030-12 noon followed by Services and Military Honors.

We are Honored to have been invited by Honor Flight CT to participate in the Escort and Ceremony for approximately 64 Veterans who are being taken to Washington DC to visit their respective monuments, many for their first time.
A flagged/PGR identified vehicle escort will start at Windsor Locks High School to bring the Veterans to the Airport for the Pre Departure  Ceremony. Stage time is 6:30am.
ASC Skip Petras (860-463-5316) will be RCIC for the Escort STAGE.
Morning  Airport Stage will include a Flag Line for the arriving Veterans as they prepare for departure. A Ceremony will be held at the SOUTHWEST AIRLINES baggage claim area lower level door #2. Stage time is 7:15am.
RC Josh Ratti (860-706-6092) will be RCIC with Flags on site.
Evening Airport Stage will include a Flag Line  for the return of the Veterans.  A flagged vehicle escort has been Requested from the Airport to the High School if available. Evening Stage is at 8:30pm at SOUTHWEST AIRLINES Arrivals.
RC Kevin  Rancourt (860-819-4199) will be RCIC with Flags on site.
MEMBERS ARE REMINDED THAT PERSONAL WEAPONS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON STATE AND TOWN PROPERTY.

We have been invited by Maj General Francis Evon Jr, Adjutant General CT National Guard to participate in the Unit Send Off for the 103rd Airlift Wing  CT Air National Guard as they prepare for Deployment.
We will Stand a Flag Line for the Ceremony.
SC Gregg Barratt (860-392-9638) will be RCIC with Flags on site.
PGR will arrive at the base as a group. All Members will need a valid government issued ID to access the base. All Members must go to the Staging Area.
Members riding should be prepared to have a helmet, gloves, boots and long sleeves to enter the base. SC Barratt will have updated information at the staging area.
Members are also reminded that Personal Weapons including pocket knives are not permitted on the base.

Significant Duty Stations include Headquarters Command 1009th Engineers Service Battalion, Battery “C” 805th Field Artillery Battalion, Battery “A” 179th Field Artillery Battalion, and Company “B” 691st Tank Destroyer Battalion as a Full Track Driver responsible for moving 155mm Howitzer cannons mounted on trailers on the front lines in Germany and Central Europe.
Significant Awards include the WW II Victory Medal, American Theater Campaign Ribbon, Army of Occupation Medal of Germany, Good Conduct Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon, Sharpshooter Rifle Badge, Expert Carbine w/ MM Bar, and Motor Vehicle Drivers Award.
We will Stand a Flag Line for Cemetery Services and Military Honors.
