Enfield’s Wreaths Across America Ceremony 12/14/2013

I know many of CT PGR will be escorting the WAA truck to Arlington, but I wanted to extend the invitation out that if anyone would like to attend and have a flag line at the Enfield Wreaths Across America ceremony on Saturday December 14th at noon (St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery, on Route 5 just off ext 46 from I-91) we would be honored to have them there.  I am on the local committee so if there are any questions, please let me know.

Thank you for all you do,

State Captain Message regarding National Website

Picture2From: Gregg Barratt

Date: Tue, Sept 24, 2013

Patriot Guard and Associates:I am very excited to share with you that a brand new National Patriot Guard Website is ready to launch!

The transition will occur Sunday the 29th and Monday the 30th with the current site being down for that time period.

When you go to the new site for the first time there are some steps you need to take: All members will need to reset their password as none of the existing passwords could be transferred. Additionally, you will be required to read and agree to the Terms of Use policy, a Ride Waiver Release of Liability form and a couple other housekeeping items like completing your profile if anything is missing.

Once you have successfully completed those, you’ll be in the brand new world of a state of the art PGR web site.  Over time you will see how versatile and powerful the new site is.

An announcement and instructions are currently posted on the National Site www.patriotguard.org

With thanks,

A Note of Appreciate regarding LTCol Tom Budrejko Mission

Thank youSept 23, 2013
A Note of Appreciation

From: Catherine Alexander
Subject: A note of appreciation

To the Patriot Guard Riders,

My brother, LTCol Tom Budrejko, was laid to rest a year and a half ago in New Britain, CT. Even though it has been so long, I wanted to say Thank You for your presence at his funeral. It was one of the most breath taking moments when we pulled up at the church, and later the cemetery, to see you surrounding my brother and our family with your flags and protection.

I know he felt honored by you being there, just as we all did. It was a truly humbling experience. Thank you for all you do for our veterans!

Regards,

Catherine Alexander
