Arthur served in the US Army from 1967-1969 as a Helicopter Mechanic.  He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, The Vietnam Service Medal with 2 bars, The American Campaign Medal and the Sharpshooter badge (M-14)

We will stand a Flag Line at the church, provide an escort to the cemetery and stand a Flag Line for Military Honors.

Many of you may remember Richard and his horse Melody, who attended hundreds of Veterans services over many years and widely known as the “Riderless Horse Marine”. Picture of Richard and Melody is attached.

Sgt. Kowalker served as a Machine Gunner in Vietnam and was awarded The National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/4*, The Vietnam Service Medal with Device, Meritorious Unit Medal, Republic of Vietnam Unit Medal with Palm and Frame, and Rifle and Pistol Expert Badges

Sadly, we have been requested to stand a flag line for Andrew R Rosetti, East Granby Police officer.

His career with the East Granby Resident State Troopers Office began in 1986, and he served his community for twenty-seven years. Andy received the Distinguished Service Award, Outstanding Service Award, and Life Saving Award from the Connecticut State Police, and was promoted to Sergeant in 2012. He was a familiar face in the hallways of the East Granby Public Schools, where his daughters attended, and could always be found with a small black coffee in his hand. He was a committed officer to the town of East Granby and enjoyed working jointly with the Connecticut State Police as well as past and present East Granby Officers.

We will stand a Flag Line for the burial.

We have been asked to help support Erica Rozanski as she rucks 50 miles to raise awareness about solder suicide. We will stand a Flag Line at the finish of her 50 mile journey to welcome her back.

About Stop Solder Suicide:

Stop Soldier Suicide is on a mission to drive veteran suicide rates down to civilian parity by 2030. We will accomplish this mission through strategic partnerships, industry-leading suicide assessment tools, and a disruptive high-touch, high-frequency case management model that is the first of its kind in the veteran services field. We are the only organization in the nation with the formula and momentum to reduce veteran suicide at a systems level

Sadly, we have been requested to stand for Edward R Fox, US Army, WWII.

Edward served as a cook and participated in the following campaigns: Guadalcanal, Northern Solomons, New Guinea and Luzon. He was a member of the 169^th Infantry Regiment.

He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, Asiatic/ Pacific Theater Campaign Ribbon with Bronze Arrowhead and the Combat Infantry Badge.

We will provide a Flag Line at the cemetery for Military Honors.
