Connecticut Patriot Guard

Mr. Stone,

The Soldiers of C Company/ 443rd Civil Affairs Battalion, Warwick, RI wish to express our most sincere thanks to the members of the Connecticut Patriot Guard for their support on Dec 2, 2010. I was personally awed by your dedication in providing an escort on such a cold day as we began yet another deployment. Your Guard does great work on behalf of the service men and women of all branches of the military and we are lucky to have such great Americans supporting all of us.

It also meant a lot to our families and friends when told of what the Patriot Guard of Connecticut did for our unit. When told of your activities and shown pictures of the riders on the highway from the bus, our families were extremely grateful and would like to express their thanks and appreciation as well. Many of our family members have seen the work your group performs on the news, but to have your escort on our trip was as special to them as it was to us. Our families have to deal with many different issues during deployments and it means a lot for them to know that there are groups such as yours providing support to all.

We endeavor to work hard, and fight with honor and integrity, to uphold the reputations established by the many New England veterans that have served before us. I sincerely hope this letter will serve the appreciation we feel as we were unable to provide thanks before your Guards departed our convoy. Please stay safe in all your supportive work for military organizations and wish all the Riders a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Wreaths Across America 2010 CT

DEC 7th, 8th & 9th

I just wanted to thank the Patriot Guard riders for their participation at yesterday’s WAA stop in Canterbury.  It was incredible and I believe will leave a lasting impression on all that attended.  We had over 200 kids at the Middle school where the convoy stopped, and hearing them chant USA, USA and sing God Bless America was truly amazing!

Respectfully,

This was so inspiring and amazing!  My dad has received over 500 cards, letters, drawings, photos, notes, and even some visits!  The response was so overwhelming and so much more than I ever could have hoped for.  It has inspired my dad and greatly lifted his spirits, knowing that there are so many patriotic and caring people, each who took the time to respond to a small request in a huge way!

Thank you Bob, thank you to the Patriot Guard Riders, and everyone who made a lasting difference in my dad’s life, and reaffirmed what we already knew: America is a great nation, and we are great because we take care of our own.

I cannot tell you how much this means to my father, and me, and I will stand with you always!.

Sincere Thanks and Gratitude,

Lisa Cahill

Bob:

I just wanted to write a note to offer my sincere and heartfelt thanks to the Patriot Guard Riders for all they did on December 2nd at the services for my cousin William “Bob” Dziadik (US Army Ranger / Korea). From braving the cold and traveling from all corners, providing the motorcycle escort to the cemetery and standing the flag lines at both the funeral and burial services to honor Bob – all above and beyond and all so very appreciated. My simple thanks to each member present that day nor this simple note can ever adequately express the depth of both my gratitude to and my respect for the Patriot Guard Riders.

Thank you all so much.

May God bless and protect the Patriot Guard Riders.

Much love & respect to all,

Bob Kryvanis

Im not sure that my words mean much, however I wanted to say thank you. As a Vet I cant even begin to express my appreciation for what you and your crews do. I find so often in this world we live that many forget the sacrifice that has been made and that is being made everyday. This was made quite evident to me this past Veterans Day. You are a force of men and women who refuse to let us be forgotten. For my brothers who never made it home you are the one who cause America to remember. Never stop doing what you do, never. The day I get a bike you can be assured I will be joining your rides. Thank you again.

Dear Bob

Please know that I was very moved and pleased that The Patriot Guard Riders were in attendance yesterday at the funeral of Corporal Breanna J. Hayes, USMC.

Honestly, I had no idea that you and the Guard would be there and when we turned into the church, I was hit in the heart, big time, by the presence of the Colors.

On behalf of my wife Maureen, and myself, our sincerest thanks to you and The Patriot Guard Riders for honoring Breanna and for ensuring that these same honors will be afforded and guarded in the future.

So to all, again, our sincerest thanks.

Peace & be well,

Joseph E. Smith
