We are invited to escort The Wall That Heals to its set-up at Savin Rock Park in West Haven. We will stage at the CT Westfield Post Mall where the escort will start.

We have been invited to participate in this Special Commemorative Event to recognize the 50th Anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. This event will be held at the CT Veterans Affairs campus in Rocky Hill, CT.
There will be a Wartime Service Medal Ceremony for all Vietnam Veterans , sponsored by the CT Dept. of Veterans Affairs, the CT National Guard, and the CCSU Veterans History Project.

We will stand a Flag Line during the opening ceremony.

XTREMELY SHORT NOTICE***SPECIAL HOTH MISSION***VETERANS FISHING TRIP, 1500 HRS (3:00 PM), TUESDAY, 13 SEPTEMBER 2016, NIANTIC, CT

Patriot Guard and Associates,

We have been asked to provide a Flag Line for the send-off of a fishing trip being provided for a group of 30 veterans (most from the Rocky Hill Veterans Administration facility. The trip and a bus to bring them to Niantic have been donated by Black Hawk Sport Fishing Company, Peter Pan Bus Company and the Atlantic Outboard Company. We will stand a Flag Line while they board. Any PGR member who wishes to join them is welcome.

***SPECIAL HOTH EVENT***CT RUN FOR THE FALLEN/CT TREES OF HONOR DEDICATION CEREMONY, 0600 HRS (6:00 AM) TO 1600 HRS (4:00 PM), SATURDAY, 17 SEPTEMBER 2016, MIDDLETOWN, CT

Patriot Guard and Associates,

We have again been asked to support the CT Run For The Fallen, which will be held in Middletown, CT, in conjunction with the Dedication of the CT Trees of Honor Memorial, on Saturday, 17 September 2016.
The Run For The Fallen specifically Honors the 65 service members from Connecticut, but also is in remembrance of all lives lost during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom and other post 9/11 conflicts. This annual event is a 65 KM run that dedicates 0ne kilometer to each of the fallen men and women from CT. The run begins and ends at the Veterans Memorial Park, which is the home of the CT Trees of Honor Memorial.
This Memorial consists of 65 Trees planted to Honor the 65 CT Men and Women who sacrificed their lives for our country. There will be a Dedication Ceremony following the completion of the Run, which will include the Official opening of the CT Trees of Honor Memorial.
The CT Patriot Guard Riders will lead an Escort of the last lap of the Run, bringing the runners into the Veterans Memorial Park, and then stand a Flag Line for the Dedication Ceremony.

Lunch will be available from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The dedication ceremony will start at approximately 2:30 pm. Keynote speaker is former Navy Seal Chris Fussel, who was Aide-De-Camp to then-LT Gen Stanley McChrystal, Commander of the Joint Special Operations Command.

Assistant State Captain Skip Petras will be RCIC and Flags will be on site.
