We are honored to have been asked to participate in the Escort of the Wreaths Across America convoy that is arriving in Enfield, CT on Wednesday morning, 14 December 2016. This is an additional convoy to the main convoy that passed through Connecticut yesterday, 13 December 2016.

ESCORT STAGE: 0800 HRS (8:00 AM), Wednesday, 14 December 2016
Exit 49 off I-91, Enfield Street/Route 5
Convoy will start at about 0910 hrs (9:10 am)

FLAG LINE: 0900 HRS (9:00 AM), Wednesday, 14 December 2016

***SPECIAL HOTH MISSION***WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA ESCORT, 1000 HRS (10:00 AM), TUESDAY, 13 DECEMBER 2016, CONNECTICUT

Patriot Guard and Associates,

The Wreaths Across America Convoy starts from Maine on Saturday, 10 December 2016.

The convoy arrives in Connecticut on Tuesday, 13 December 2016, at approximately 1030 hrs (10:30 am) from Rhode Island on Route 6 in Killingly. CT State Police plan to meet at the border and lead to I-395 South to Uncasville, where the convoy will go to to St. Bernard School with planned arrival at 1100 hrs (11:00 AM).

Departure from St. Bernard School at 1245 hrs (12:45 pm), where we will return to I-395 South. The convoy will then take I-95 South to Exit 42 (Saw Mill Road), and head to Savin Rock Community School, 50 Park Street, West Haven, CT, arriving at approximately 1400 hrs (2:00 pm). Trailers will park on Capt. Thomas Blvd, other vehicles will park on Park St.

Departure from Savin Rock Community School will be at approximately 1515 hrs (3:15 pm), and return to I-95 South to Exit 16, East Ave. Arrival at St. Ann Club, 16 Hendricks Ave, is approximately 1630 hrs (4:30 pm).

Departure from St. Ann Club will be at approximately 1945 hrs (7:45 pm) to continue to CT/NY line. The transition to NY State Police Escort will take place just after Exit 2 at the wide shoulder.

FIRST STAGE: Those wishing to participate in the Escort should go to the I-395 Exit for Route 6 to meet the convoy from RI. Approximate time of arrival is 1030 hrs (10:30 am). Early arrival is recommended.
You can also join the Escort at any stage location. Be alert of weather, snow/ice conditions will preclude motorcycles from the Escort.
Also, at the request of CT State Police, no Flags will be allowed on motorcycles in the Escort.

SECOND STAGE:1000 hrs (10:00 am), Tuesday, 13 December 2016

We will stage a Flag Line for the arrival of the convoy.

THIRD STAGE: 1300 hrs (1:00 pm), Tuesday, 13 December 2016
Commuter Lot at Exit 42, Saw Mill Road turn right and follow Saw Mill Road, turn left just before the Mobil/DD, the commuter lot will be on the left. West Haven PD will be there to lead up the Escort.

FOURTH STAGE: 1530 hrs (3:30 pm), Tuesday, 13 December 2016

We will stand a Flag Line for the arrival of the Escort

The convoy is expected to leave Norwalk at approximately 1945 hrs (7:45 pm) and proceed to I-95 South to the transition point for transfer to NY State Police Escort, just past Exit 2, where there is a wide shoulder.

AGAIN, BE AWARE OF THE WEATHER, LONG RANGE FORECAST IS FOR COLD TEMPS, POSSIBLE SNOW AND CHANGING TO RAIN. IF SNOW, MOTORCYCLES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. I WILL TRY TO PUT OUT AN UPDATE MONDAY EVENING, SO CHECK YOUR E-MAIL.

We are honored to have been invited to stand a Flag Line at the ceremony honoring the 2016 Connecticut Veterans Hall Of Fame Inductees to be held in the Legislative Office Building Atrium in Hartford, CT.

Assistant State Captain Jack Casey will be RCIC and have Flags on site. Remember to arrive early for parking, and also be prepared to pass through security, including metal detectors.

We have been invited to participate in the VETSROCK event, at the Mohegan Sun Casino, on Friday, 11 November 2016, which consists of the following parts:

Hire the Heroes Job Fair; Save-A-Suit Professional Attire, a Veteran Service Organization EXPO Fair; and an awesome Arena Show emceed by Tony Orlando and featuring Dropkick Murphys, Godsmack and Madison Rising (extra cost). Events will be held in the Uncas Ballroom.

We will have a table to allow us to provide information about our organization and what service we provide. Set up can begin at

State Captain Mac McArthur and Assistant State Captain Jack Casey will be there along with a number of our loyal members to get our message out to attendees. Due to early events at local schools, an an Honor Mission in Wolcott, CT, we may be a little late. Please go to our area and be a presence for our organization.

We have been honored to participate in the Escort of The Wall That Heals from Mike’s Famous Harley Davidson to the Mohegan Sun Casino. This is part of the Til Duty is Done and VETS ROCK event at the casino.
We will join other groups in the escort. All motorcycles and cars are welcome to ride along. Escort led by one-of-a-kind Medal of Honor Ford 1957 Thunderbird.
