We have been requested to provide an escort for a USMC veteran/NC State corrections officer. This will take place tomorrow, Monday, 30 January 2017 at 1720 hrs (5:20 pm) at Bradley Airport going to Leetes-Stevens Funeral Home in Enfield, CT. Once I get more info I will post statewide with details.

Patriot Guard and Associates,

We are honored to have been asked to provide an escort for Matthew J. Pearce, Sgt, USMC, who served for 12 years, including 2 tours in Iraq and 1 tour in Afghanistan. He was currently employed with the Onslow County Sheriff’s Department in North Carolina as a Corrections Officer.

We will escort Sgt. Pearce from Bradley Airport to Leetes Stevens Funeral Home in Enfield, CT. Full Flag vehicles will take part, however, this depends on LEO and CSP participation if bikes will be allowed with Full Flags.

Senior Ride Captain Gregg Barratt will be RCIC for this event.

Sadly we are called to honor Gordon A. Hillman, Cpl, US Marine Corps, who served from 1972 to 1976 with Electronic Warfare Squadron VMAQ 2 and Marine Air Group MAG-14 and 2nd Marine Air Wing. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.

We will stand a Flag Line at the CT State Veterans Cemetery for his interment with Military Honors.

Senior Ride Captain Don Camden will be RCIC and Flags will be on Site.

WREATH PICK UP AT CT STATE VETERANS CEMETERIES

Patriot Guard,

There will be an Attend On Your Own Mission starting at 0800 hrs (8:00am), on Friday, 20 January 2017, to pick up the wreaths put down in December 2016, at the Veterans Cemeteries throughout the state. They ask that if possible you bring a wheelbarrow, and wear water proof boots as the grounds are quite wet. Attend as long as you are able.

Janauskas, SP2 (T), US Army, who served as a Morse Interceptor with the Army Security Agency, Field Station 8601, Field Station Augsburg, Gablingen Kaserne, Bavaria, Germany and Vint Hill Farms Station Fauquier County, Virginia. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Marksman Carbine Caliber 30 Badge, and Expert Rifle Caliber 30 Badge.

We will stand a Flag Line for the service at the Funeral Home and at the Cemetery for the Interment with Military Honors. We will provide a Flag Vehicle Escort to the Cemetery.

Patriot Guard and Associates; Â Sadly we are called to stand in Honor of Martin Lewis Cannata, CPL USMC who served in Vietnam with Company B, 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment,1st MARDIV, III MAF as a Machine Gunner.

Marty recieved The Combat Action Ribbon, Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation, Republic of Vietnam Civil Actions Unit Citation, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Marine Corps Expert Rifle Badge.

Funeral services will be held Friday January 13, 2017 at the Cromwell Funeral Home 506 Main St, Cromwell, CT at 10am followed by an 11am church service at Bethany Lutheran Church, 50 Court St Cromwell. Military Honors will be rendered at the church following services.

We will stand a Flag Line at the Funeral Home and the Church. A Flagged Escort has been requested from the Funeral Home to the church weather permitting.Â

ASC Jack Casey will be RCIC and have flags on site. Members are asked to report to the Funeral Home at 9am.Â

Members are reminded to dress appropriately for the weather.Â

Unable to find any info about his service.He was a member of the American Legion and held positions as Post Commander, Past 5th District Commander and Department Executive Committeeman, and many other veteran organizations.

We will stand a Flag Line at the cemetery for his interment and during Military Honors. If available, we will provide a Flag Vehicle Escort from the funeral home to the cemetery. Be aware of the impending weather.

He took part in the Normandy Invasion. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon.

We will stand a Flag Line at the church prior to the service, provide a Flag Vehicle Escort to the cemetery and a Flag Line for the Interment with Military Honors.
