Subject: July 7th Welcome Home

Hello Gregg and all the Patriot Guard.

Wanted to send a sincere and heartfelt thank you to the Jack Casey and the guys that showed up for our event.

The Patriot Guard has a way of turning a gathering into and event.

Andrea was so thankful and surprised to see us all standing there with the RED WHITE AND BLUE waving for her arrival. She was very please, so in turn I was also.

Thank you all VERY MUCH!

July 4, 2012

To:  Connecticut Patriot Guard

From the bottom of my heart I cannot say thank you enough.

What a wonderful group of caring people you are.

From the first point of contact with your group, my experience has been absolutely positive.

Each and every one of you are a true inspiration to all.

Your presence made the event of welcoming our son SGT Matthew Prue’s Welcome Home from Afghanistan an outstanding experience.

You will all hold a special place in the hearts of the Mosig/Prue family eternally.

Thank you,

Shelley Mosig

Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation Ride for Independence

Patriot Guard and Associates:

I hope you will once again come out to support the Fieldco Guide Dog Foundations “Ride for Independence” on Sunday July 15th in Bloomfield (see flyer attached) and PGR will once again have our booth there as a vendor.

There is a great day planned with registration opening at 9:00am, including:
* police escorted motorcycle ride through beautiful north central Connecticut

* delicious BBQ lunch prepared by “Black Eyed Sally’s”
* 3 live bands
* 2 police K-9 demonstrations
* 50/50 raffle
* silent auction

SPECIAL GUESTS and GRAND MARSHALS
Fidelco client and American hero, TSgt Matt Slaydon, USAF, EOD (Ret), and his guide dog “Legend” will be flying in from Phoenix, AZ, to participate in the ride as a Grand Marshal. Matt volunteered for three tours of duty in Iraq serving as an Explosive Ordinance Disposal Technician (EOD). He was blinded and severely wounded while disarming his 100th IED in Kirkuk, Iraq – a bomb that contained over 15 lbs of TNT. He lost his eyes and left arm, and suffered many other devastating injuries. Matt actually went into cardiac arrest three times in the evac helicopter, but it just wasn’t his time back then. Since being partnered with “Legend” in 2010, thanks to supporters like you, Matt has regained his sense of independence and freedom.

Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will participate in the opening ceremony to thank the riders for their support of Fidelco’s mission. Lt. Gov. Wyman has long recognized the selfless sacrifices made by our nation’s military men and women – active and wounded. Lt. Gov. Wyman is a strong supporter of our country’s Armed Forces and has worked tirelessly to create the Wall of Honor tribute at the State Capitol for Connecticut military men and women who lost their lives in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

Google Documents

The goals for these posts: Behind the Scenes

It was brought to my attention there was a problem with the Google Documents, especially “How To Join Us” directions.  After investigation, the issue stemmed from Google’s new storage system.  I have upgraded to Google’s new storage system.  I then logged out of everything, came to this site, clicked on the button of “How To Join Us” and the process seemed to worked well.  No log in was necessary.  I was taken right to the document that has the directions of how to join.  Hopefully this glitch as been resolved.

Remember….if you have questions or ideas, please feel free to contact me.

Thanks,
Carol Casey
