Significant Duty Stations include Samson Air Force Base Syracuse, NY, Engine & Aircraft School Wichita, TX, Donaldson Air Force Base, SC, Andrews Air Force Base, MD, and Ardmore Air Force Base OK as an C-119 Air Crew Member transporting wounded troops to Hospitals in the Washington DC area and a Testing Team Member of the L-20’s
Significant Awards include the National Defense Service Medal and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal.
A Flagged Vehicle Escort has been requested from the Funeral Home to the Cemetery.
We will Stand a Flag Line at the Cemetery for Burial Services and Military Honors at the Cemetery.
RC Steve Marcolini (860-334-4616) will be RCIC for both the Escort and the Cemetery.
Members are to park across the street at 338 Town St in the business parking lot and walk into the cemetery.

Sadly we have been requested to Stand in Honor for Brian Patrick Hayes SFC CT Army National Guard GWOT.  SFC Hayes passed away during Military Training in Georgia. (ODD)
Significant Duty Stations include the Army National Guard Fort Benning GA, CT Army National Guard as an Infantryman and  Military Police Operation Iraqi Freedom, later Assigned to the 169th Aviation Unit Windsor Locks, CT.   SFC Hayes was also a member of the 2nd Company Governor’s Horse Guard in Newtown CT.
Significant Awards include The Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the Global War on Terror Service Medal.
Day 1
We have been requested to provide a Flag Line at Bradley International Airport and Flagged Vehicle Escort to the Funeral Home on Thursday 02/03/2022.
SC Gregg Barratt will be RCIC for the Airport and the Escort to the funeral home.
No PGR Vehicles will be Permitted on the Airport Proper. Members are reminded that Personal Weapons are not permitted on State Property.
Day 2
Flagged Vehicle Escort has been requested from the Funeral Home to the Church and from the Church to the Cemetery.
Flag Lines will be held at the Church for services and for Burial Services and Military Honors at the Cemetery.
RCIC TBA  Members may attend at whichever location they choose.

We have been requested to provide Flag Line for “The Celebration of life” for our own Jack Casey which will be Sunday January 23rd from 1300hrs to 1600hrs with our stage time at 1200hrs.

 

There will be a period of Remembrance and Reflection by Carol and Family and then anyone who wishes to share memories following is welcome.

 

SC Gregg Barratt will be RCIC.

 

Any RC that has flags are requested to bring them.

 

Burial with Military Honors will be at a later date at Bourne National Cemetery in Massachusetts.
