Alan was an Uncle of our ASC Skip Petras.
Significant Duty Stations include The 68th Bombardment Wing (Medium) 2nd Air Force Lake Charles AFB La as a Senior Munitions Specialist.
Significant Awards include Korean Service Medal w/ 2 Bronze Stars, United Nations Service Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal.
We will Stand a Flag Line for Burial Services and Military Honors.
ASC Skip Petras 860-463-5316 will be RCIC with Flags on site.
The Cemetery is small and has limited parking. Additional parking is available across the street on Woods Rd.

Significant Duty Stations include Marine Headquarters and Maintenance Squadron 20, MCCR-TG 20 2nd Marine Air Wing, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC as an A/C Maintenance Power Plant Mechanic.
Significant Awards include The National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, Meritorious Mast, Good Conduct Medal x2.
Members with flags are requested to bring them for a flag line prior to the Services at the Funeral Home for the arrival of Family and Guests.
A Flagged Vehicle Escort has been Requested from the Funeral Home to the Cemetery.
We will Stand a Flag Line at the Cemetery for Burial Services and Military Honors.  Members with Flags are asked to bring them to the Cemetery.

We will stand a Flag Line at the church and there will not be Military Honors as he will be interred in Arlington Cemetery at a later date.

 Patriot Guard and Associates;

Sadly, we have been requested to stand a Flag Line for Stanley Prybylski, USMC/Police.

Stanley served as a Marine Rifleman and Squad Leader in Alpha company in Vietnam from 1968-1970 and then went on to serve in the USMC Reserves.

Stanley was awarded the Purple Heart, Vietnam Service Medal W/1*, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/device, RVN Cross of Gallantry w/Palm, Company Action Ribbon and National Defense Service Medal.

In addition, he served as a Police Officer for many years with the City of Danbury and went on to be an instructor at the CT Municipal Police Academy in Meriden, where he was one of my instructors when I was there.

On a personal note, this Hero was a great role model for many that were in his classes at the police academy and was very well respected by all.

We will stand a Flag Line at the Church, escort to the cemetery and Flag Line at the cemetery.

OF NOTE: This is an “attend on your own” as we have no available Ride Captains so you must bring your own flag. I am also asking those who attend to use your best judgement on the escort and to coordinate with the Funeral Home.
