Additionally, Francis served in the CT Department of Corrections for 26 years.

Sadly, we are called to stand for Frank W. Forrest, U.S. Army, Vietnam.

 

In 1968, Frank was drafted into the United States Army and served in Vietnam as a Chaplain’s Assistant. He earned a Bronze Star and brought home amazing photos and stories from his tour. Frank went on to advocate for service members, veterans, and the veteran community. He served as Post Commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 7659 in Glastonbury and Post 2083 in East Hartford. In 2017, he founded an organization called SOS Connecticut, an effort to collect and ship care packages to service members overseas—personally ensuring that troops knew their hometown was thinking of them.

 

We will stand a Flag Line for the Celebration of Life which is at 1000hs at the church.

Sadly, we are called to stand for Raymond Brown, US Navy, WWII.

 

Robert served in the US Navy as an Engineer aboard the USS Bashaw-241 Submarine and was awarded the Navy Occupation Medal.

 

The USS Bashaw-241, a Gato-Class submarine, conducted six war patrols in the Celebes, Philippines and South China Seas during WWII between 1944 and 1945 and later served in the Vietnam War.

 

We will stand a Flag Line at the cemetery.

This Hero was the father of a good friend of Rob Migliore and very sorry for the loss.
