We have been invited to attend a Wreaths Across America benefit event at Bobby V’s 11 Schoephoester Rd Windsor Locks, CT 06096. There will be a Live Broadcast with Rob Dibble from ESPN Radio in which PGR will discuss Wreaths Across America on Air. Attached is the email invite from Renee Dinino from IHeart Media. This year we are short on time due to holiday’s but wanted to make sure you knew how much we support this!

Bring as many as you like – most likely 2 to speak on air. You can bring a roll up and set up a donation jar and grab a table.

This is a Budweiser event – so no other beer group can be mentioned.

The Patriot Guard has been personally requested by A Gold Star Mother to attend and would appreciate our help at the following event supporting our Warriors experiencing PTSD.

PTSD WARRIORS COVE ISLAND RETREAT
SATURDAY OCTOBER 7, 2017
10:00 AM TO 3:00 PM

STAMFORD, CT 06902

 

We will set up an informational table at the event.

Staging will be at 0900 hrs.

ASC Jack Casey will be RCIC and will have 2 tables and 4 chairs with him. If anyone else is able to help out with providing a tent, it would be appreciated. If members are planning to attend, it is requested that you bring a chair(s) with you.

A large crowd is expected. Food and entertainment will be provided.

Happily we have been invited to participate in the Enfield, CT Fourth of July Parade being held on 8 July 2017 at 1100 hrs (11:00 am).

We are in Division 3, staging in front of the Felician Sisters building. Be early as they close the road at 1000 hrs (10:30 am). Dress appropriately for the weather as it can get very warm.

Hennessey, EN3, US Navy, who served with Beachmaster Unit One, and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Bronze Star, the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation, the Republic of Vietnam Civil Actions Unit Citation, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
We will stand a Flag Line during his Interment with Military Honors.

An Attend on Your Own Special Event, Bridgeport Bluefish salute the Military, Veterans and their families at the Ballpark at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, CT., that is to take place from 1400 to 1900 hrs (2:00 to 7:00 pm). There will be a Military Career & Resource Fair on the Main Concourse, followed by a Meet & Greet with select Bluefish Players. At 1900 hrs (7:00 pm) there will be  the Bluefish Military Recognition Ceremony with Color Guard & National Anthem. First pitch of the game is at 1912 hrs (7:12 pm).

We are honored to be asked to set up an Information Table for the 2nd Annual CT Community Veterans Engagement Board (CVEB)/Quinebaug Valley Community College (QVCC) Veterans Stand Down. This event is an opportunity for open dialogue, feedback and recommendations on Veterans Issues here in Connecticut, as well as the ability to connect with resources and services available to Veterans in the state and at Quinebaug Valley Community College. There will be a number of free services available including hearing and eye screenings as well as a mini job fair. All Veterans, family members, caregivers, Veteran Service Organizations and members of the public are invited to attend this event.
CT PGR will have an information table to spread information about our purpose and how we may help Veterans and their families. Any one who can spend some time to assist is asked to help.
