We are honored to be invited to a Special Mission to honor Leonard (Len) F. Dube, who retired from the US Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant, and who also served in the US Army during the Korean War on a Landing Ship Tank. He transitioned into the Air Force and worke as a Combat Controller during the Vietnam War. He also served during Operation Desert Shiueld/Desert Storm as an Air Transportation Manager with the 439th Combat Support Squadron. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal with one Device, USAF Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal with Bronze Conduct Knots, USAF Good Conduct Medal, Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Ribbon with four devices, National Defense Service Medal with Gold Star, Medal of Merit, Vietnam Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Service Ribbon, Kuwait Liberation Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with one device, Air Force Longevity Service Ribbon with two devices,Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon with Bronze Star device and the Army Service Ribbon.

We will stand a Flag Line during his Memorial Service.

ASC Jack Casey will be RCIC and Flags and water will be on Site.

Patriot Guard and Associates;  Sadly we are called to stand in Honor of Martin Lewis Cannata, CPL USMC who served in Vietnam with Company B, 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment,1st MARDIV, III MAF as a Machine Gunner.

Marty recieved The Combat Action Ribbon, Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation, Republic of Vietnam Civil Actions Unit Citation, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Marine Corps Expert Rifle Badge.
Funeral services will be held Friday January 13, 2017 at the Cromwell Funeral Home 506 Main St, Cromwell, CT at 10am followed by an 11am church service at Bethany Lutheran Church, 50 Court St Cromwell. Military Honors will be rendered at the church following services.
We will stand a Flag Line at the Funeral Home and the Church. A Flagged Escort has been requested from the Funeral Home to the church weather permitting. 
ASC Jack Casey will be RCIC and have flags on site. Members are asked to report to the Funeral Home at 9am. 
Members are reminded to dress appropriately for the weather.

Patriot Guard and Associates;

We have been requested to participate in the the Opening of the Town of East Hampton, CT 250th Anniversary celebration that also includes the tying of a Yellow Ribbon for Commander Michael Flatley, USN.

Yellow Ribbons will also be tied for all branches of the United States Military and remain throughout the celebration year.

Staging will be at 1200 hrs (Noon) on Saturday Jan 7, 2017 at the Yellow Ribbon Tree at the intersection of Main St and Summit St with parking at the Center School/Church parking lot.

Steve Marcolini will be RCIC and flags will be on site.

Members are reminded to dress appropriately for the weather.

Good Morning Patriot Guard and Associates;

We are honored to again be participating in the Laying of the Wreaths at the CT State Veterans Cemetery 317 Bow Ln Middletown, CT on Saturday Dec 17, 2016 at 12 noon.
This event coincides with the National and International Wreath Laying ceremonies.
Immediately following the Wreath laying ceremony, The CT PGR will lay Wreaths on the graves of the Unclaimed Veterans that we have been honored to participate in the escort and burial of.

THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Staging will be at 11am at the cemetery.
Members are cautioned to be attentive to the weather conditions and are reminded to dress warmly as the forecast is for cold temperatures and the possibility of inclement weather. Parking for this event as always is tight so please plan accordingly.

We are again honored to participate in the largest Veterans parade in New England. Our own Assistant State Captain Jack Casey is one of the Grand Marshall’s for the event.

We will stage at Buckingham Street near the corner with Washington Street in the ESCORT SECTION. It is recommended that we arrive before 1000 hrs (10:00 am) as the roads begin closing as the step-off time approaches. Flag Vehicles (motorcycles and cages) are allowed, and we will have a truck and trailer for those who prefer to ride. We will have a grill and dogs and burgers prior to the start of the parade. Dress for the weather, which looks pretty mild.

Assistant State Captain Skip Petras will be RCIC and Flags will be on site to mount to the trailer.

STAGE: 1000 HRS (10:00 AM), Sunday, 6 November 2016 (Be early)

There will be a Wreath-Laying Ceremony at 1130 hrs (11:30 am) at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch to remember all Veterans prior to parade step-off. There will a Color Guard, music and a bugler will play Taps.
A Moment of Silence will be observed at 1330 hrs (1:30 pm) SHARP. TURN OFF YOUR VEHICLES.
