We are honored to have been invited to participate in the Wreaths Across America convoy arrival & ceremony at the Town Hall in Wallingford.

We will stand a Flag Line outside for the arrival of the convoy, then move inside for a Flag Line for the ceremony.

RC Linda–Daley Liversidge (203-915-8259) will be RCIC and flags will be provided.

Hello All…..   The time is upon us again to Say the Names of our Fallen Veterans and place a Wreath at their Final Resting Place.  Honor, Remember and Teach..

Wreaths will be delivered directly to the State Veterans Cemetery 317 Bow La in Middletown by Thursday afternoon. No assistance will be needed on Thursday.
On Saturday, The Middletown cemetery will be closed to vehicle traffic with parking on the CVH property across the street as well as the Eastern Drive Commuter lot with shuttle buses transporting to and from the cemetery starting at 10:30am. Signs will be posted to assist in parking.
The Ceremony will take place at 12 noon at both locations so please plan on arriving at the cemetery around 1100am.
We will Stand a Flag Line for the Ceremonies at both Middletown and Rocky Hill.
RC Jenn Hauser (203-627-7604) will be RCIC at CT State Veterans Cemetery 317 Bow Lane. Middletown.
RC Tom Wood (860-302-6644) will be RCIC at Col Raymond F. Gates Cemetery 392 West St in Rocky Hill.
Staging for both locations will be at 1100am
Any RC’s that have flags are requested to bring them to whichever event they attend.
Members are requested to choose whichever site they would want to attend.  More help will be needed at the Rocky Hill site.
Members are reminded that Personal Weapons are not permitted on State Property.

SHORT NOTICE WAA DELIVERY

Hello All..  We just received notification from 1 of the shippers delivering Wreaths  to State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown that the delivery will occur on Monday 12/11/23 at 10am .

This load will not be palletized and will need to be unloaded by hand. 

Assistance is being requested to unload this truck.
If anyone is able to assist, It is greatly appreciated.

This was received from the CT Department of Veterans Affairs this morning. Members may go to whichever location they choose. 
Good morning all,
 
Great job on another successful Wreaths Across America event! The time has come to remove the wreaths, take a deep breath, and start preparing for next year.
 
On Saturday,  January 16 2021 we plan to remove the wreaths and need your help with mustering up volunteers to remove the wreaths at the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown AND Col. Gates Cemetery in Rocky Hill (Across from the DVA Campus).
 
There are about 10K wreaths placed in Middletown and about 1600 placed in Rocky Hill. 
 
Start time 0900 hours.
 
 We must stay below 150 people and socially distance. CDC and State Guidelines will be followed.

We have been invited to provide a Flagged Vehicle Escort for the Tractor Trailers transporting more than 12,500 Wreaths to CT State Veterans Cemetery from Cromwell CT. 
Thursday 12/17/2020 8:30am Stage
Stop & Shop Supermarket
195 West St Cromwell, CT 06416 
Flagged Vehicles will stage at Stop & Shop and Escort the Trucks with Wreaths from Cromwell to Middletown. Local Law Enforcement, Fire Services and other agencies will be involved. 
This is a Law Enforcement escorted event. 
Law Enforcement will have the final decision as to the progress of the convoy. 
This Event will be Weather Dependent.  
SOCIAL DISTANCING AND SANITIZING GUIDELINES WILL BE IN EFFECT SEE YOUR RCIC WITH QUESTIONS 
ASC Skip Petras will be RCIC.

Patriot Guard and Associates;
We are Honored to have been invited to participate in Wreath Laying Ceremonies being held at CT State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown and the Col Raymond F Gates Memorial Cemetery in Rocky Hill.
We will Stand Flag Lines for both events. Members that have flags are requested to bring them.
RC Linda Liversidge-Daley will be the RCIC for the Rocky Hill Event with Flags on site. Members will be needed to Stand in Rocky Hill.
ASC Skip Petras will be RCIC for the Middletown Event with flags on site.
Members are Welcome to arrive at the cemeteries at 8am to assist in the unloading and unpacking of the Wreaths in preparation for the 12 noon ceremonies and Wreath Laying.
Parking at the Rocky Hill site will be limited so arrive early.
Parking for the Middletown Event will be on the CT Valley Hospital Property and shuttle busses will transfer participants to and from the cemetery. You will be directed to the parking areas by Volunteers.
Handicapped Parking will be in a designated lot on the CT Valley Hospital Property with handicap shuttles to transport participants to and from the cemetery.
For those members attending Middletown, We will lay Wreaths on the graves for our Unclaimed Veterans following the Main event.  We have 21 graves that we will place a Wreath on.
Weather is forecasted to be rainy so members are reminded to dress appropriately for the weather.
Members are reminded that Personal Weapons are not Permitted on State Property.

We are Honored to have been invited to participate in Wreaths Across America Escorts in Enfield and Cromwell/Middletown.
The following is for the Enfield Escort.  This event is Weather Dependant.
Wednesday 12/11/2019  0730am Stage 
281 State St (Corner of Enfield St)
Flagged Vehicles will join the convoy as directed by the Enfield Police Department.  We will Escort the Wreaths Across America Convoy to the Parkman Elementary School. A Ceremony will be held at Parkman. Members are invited to attend the ceremony if they choose.
ASC Skip Petras will be RCIC.
THIS EVENT IS WEATHER DEPENDANT. 
 
Thursday 12/12/2019  8:30am Stage
